As the founder of Feltham & Associates, Debra has operated her own accounting, taxation, and business advisory firm since 2005 and brings more than 30 years of professional experience supporting entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and municipalities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

With extensive experience in assurance, taxation, accounting, and advisory services, Debra works closely with clients to help them strengthen financial systems, improve profitability, and make informed business decisions. She is passionate about providing timely, reliable information and practical guidance that helps organizations grow, adapt, and succeed.

Debra’s commitment to technology and innovation has been central to the way she supports clients. She is a QuickBooks® Platinum ProAdvisor, a Xero Gold Certified Partner, and a Certified Consultant/Trainer with Sage 50, and she works with a range of cloud accounting platforms, software integrations, and reporting tools to help clients improve efficiency and access better financial information.

Debra has been recognized for her forward-thinking approach to client service, including receiving the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs in the Visionary and Innovation categories. Her commitment to technology and innovation continues to shape the way she supports clients through cloud accounting, integrated systems, and modern advisory solutions.

Debra is also committed to her profession and community, having served in leadership and volunteer roles with local, regional, and national organizations, including CPA Newfoundland and Labrador, CPA Canada, the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce, the St. John’s Board of Trade, and the Mount Pearl Paradise Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Debra enjoys volunteering with her local church, spending time with her two adorable puppies, Kindred and Bailey, travelling, painting, and exploring international cooking. She values time spent with family, friends, and community, and brings that same sense of connection and care to her work with clients.

Liam Coombs, CPA

Manager

Liam Coombs, CPA

Liam graduated from Memorial University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and earned his CPA designation in 2021. Before joining our firm, Liam gained extensive audit experience with two national accounting firms and served as a Chief Financial Officer.

Bringing over a decade of accounting experience, he has advised and supported clients across Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, gaining valuable insight into a wide range of industries and organizations. His diverse background and strong organizational skills enable him to understand both audit and client perspectives, bridging communication and technical gaps effectively.

Liam is passionate about helping businesses and organizations thrive. Drawing on his experience in assurance, taxation, business advisory, and CFO services, he works closely with clients to provide tailored solutions, insightful guidance, and practical strategies that support growth, improve financial performance, and create lasting value.

When he’s not working with clients, Liam can often be found hiking the East Coast Trail with his wife and their two dogs, teeing off at local golf courses, or enjoying a good book. He takes pride in living and working in Newfoundland and Labrador and appreciates the strong sense of community the province offers.

Tyler Kirby, B.Comm

Tyler graduated from Memorial University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has since completed the Chartered Professional Accountant Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). He wrote his final Common Final Examination (CFE) in September 2025 and is in the process of obtaining his CPA designation.

Before joining our firm, Tyler gained hands-on experience with several accounting firms, including two national firms. His background includes working on audit engagements for large, provincially regulated organizations such as Newfoundland Power and NL Hydro, as well as for many local non-profit organizations and charities. This mix of experience has given him a well-rounded understanding of both complex corporate audits and the community-focused needs of smaller organizations.

Tyler brings a strong technical foundation and a client-first mindset to every engagement. He is highly proficient in CaseWare, TaxCycle, QuickBooks, and Sage 50, and is known for his attention to detail, collaborative approach, and commitment to delivering quality results that add real value for clients.
